07/05/2009      The HolidayCheck 2008 Award Ceremony for Greek Hotels took place in Horizon Beach Resort.

Horizon Beach Resort was awarded by HolidayCheck as one of the 99 most popular hotels world wide, for Season 2008. The selection of the winning hotels was based on the holidaymakers' opinions, and more specifically, on the number of reviews, the hotel's reccomendation rate and the given suns per category, in the HolidayCheck hotel review system.

The awarding ceremony for the 7 winning Greek hotels took place in Horizon Beach Resort, on 7/5/2009, in an elegant and luxurious atmosphere. The event was attended by a representative of the Ministry of Tourism, members of the local authorities and of hotelier organizations, as well as Greek hoteliers and executive members of the HolidayCheck team.

During the ceremony, Horizon Beach Resort was also awarded by the local Mayor, for its contribution to the upgrade of the wider region.

The ceremony, which was accompanied by our chef's inspired creations, evolved in a succesful party, with all our guests enjoying the live Greek music and the Greek traditional dancing shows.
